A returning favorite this year, Chuck-a-Duck, brings with it a brand new prize fans can really “fall” for. This year’s item is a Fall themed wreath completely made out from gift cards. Over $350 to be exact. So one $5 duckie landing at center ice could take care of all your holiday shopping, take you on a shopping spree yourself, or could treat your office to a great catered lunch. The possibilities are endless but you’ll never get a chance at it if you don’t “chuck-a-duck”.

With a fundraising goal this year of $100k we have just recently passed the 1/4 way mark. We need our procrastinating pals and partners get their contributions and donations in on behalf of their favorite player(s) before the big game, now less than two weeks away. Remember all donations are 100% tax deductible and go to benefit Children’s National Medical System. Thank you all for your continued support and we look forward to seeing everyone on October 25th.
The Booz Allen Minutemen are currently in first place for fundraising this year. With the Friends of Children’s National – Virginia less than $1,000 behind, followed by the Deloitte Dragons, and trailing the pack is Friends of Children’s National – Maryland. If you are ok with the Minutemen in the lead you can relax a little, but not too much, if you are not, jump over to the Fundraising page and help knock them off their high horses. :p
